Google Pixel 9 Pro XL Case | Magsafe

It's not just about protection but presentation as well.This case screams perfection and precision. I am a researcher ... working in matrix composites and having a composite case is a must-have for me. You can buy cheap ones on Ali but you get what you pay for, cheap stuff. The Thinborne is very much the opposite. It starts with the packaging. This is not a cheap cardboard box. It’s as dense as wood and already feels premium. The packaging also means care of the product that’s sold. This case is not for protection of your phone from higher falls, it’s not claiming that either. This is a skin that prevents scratches on the back and sides. There is a tiny lip without a screen protector and it would just be enough to lift the screen away from a surface when laid down flat. A glass screen protector will be exposed when laid down. The case is so thin that it almost - almost - fits into the Google case. At the same time, it’s not just a skin. Made from a composite with aramid fabric, this is strong and protects from sharp objects or minor drops. The alignment of the cutouts is perfect. The slits that allow the case to slip over the phone are perfect as well and speak to the quality and meticulousness of the production.Even the way the fabric wraps around the corners is beautiful. For the price it would have been nice to incorporate a MagSafe ring into the case. No problem though as they are available separately in many different variations. I took a very thin one from another case and adhered it to the inside of the ThinBorne case and put a protective adhesive paper over it (Google’s own from the P8P retail box - see photos). Works perfectly in the car.My next conference is coming up at the end of the month and I can’t wait to show it off.
